Richard Mullane is a London-based film director with over 10 years experience creating commercials, digital, documentary and short films. He has shot across the world from Maui to Helsinki, Kuwait and Beijing for companies including Expedia, Standard Chartered, Santander, Monster Energy, The Royal Navy, Shell, Paul Smith, Delta Airlines, Microsoft, The Economist, Pernod Ricard and Standard Life. His obsessions lie in moving story telling, powerful aesthetics and drawing out brilliant content from non-acting and acting talent, be they sports stars or regular folk. He has a track record of creating films for highly effective campaigns from TV spots to short form SM and branded content. He directed the BT Sports Industry Awards International Campaign of the year 2017 and won a Silver Clio in 2019. His short film 'The Horse Whisperer' has notched over 2m online views and won over 10 awards over a great festivals run. He is currently producing and directing the documentary 'Deep Breath' about Freediving, expected for release autumn 2020.
Richard runs the production collective Living Projects, working directly with agencies, production houses and clients to create award winning films.
