Richard Mullane is a film director based between London and Athens Greece, with over 15 years experience producing, directing and writing documentaries, short films and commercials.

​His short film 'The Horse Whisperer' has notched over 2.5m online views, winning awards and screening at over 10 global festivals. He is currently producing and directing the feature documentary 'Deep Breath' about freediving, which is entering the festival circuit 2022.

Richard has shot TVCs and online commercials across the world from Maui to Helsinki, Kuwait and Beijing for companies including Expedia, Standard Chartered, DocuSign, G2, Santander, Monster Energy, The Royal Navy, Shell, Paul Smith, Delta Airlines, Microsoft, The Economist, Pernod Ricard and Standard Life. He has a track record of creating character based short films for highly effective branded content campaigns, with a focus on moving story telling, powerful aesthetics and drawing out spellbinding content from non-acting and acting talent alike. Awards include Clios and the BT Sports Industry Awards International Campaign of the year.

He runs the production collective Living Projects, working directly with agencies, production houses and clients.
